Community
ConfigWitness DNS Community is free forever. It includes the read-only, analysis, reporting, diagnostics, history, and recovery capabilities described on the Pricing page.
Professional license
Professional costs $199 USD as a one-time purchase. It grants a perpetual Professional entitlement for one admin workstation and unlimited managed DNS servers, including 12 months of updates and support. Perpetual use applies to versions covered by your updates entitlement.
Updates and support renewal
An optional renewal costs $59 USD as a one-time purchase and extends updates/support for 12 months. It applies to your existing license and does not create a new license. There is no automatic subscription renewal. Your existing Professional entitlement remains perpetual if you choose not to renew.
Checkout and delivery
Paddle handles checkout. Applicable taxes and the final payment total are shown before payment. Use an email address you can access: your activation credential will be delivered there after payment processing. Checkout completion on the website does not itself activate the desktop application.
Payment-related terms and available buyer remedies are described in Paddle’s checkout buyer terms. For purchase problems, contact support with your transaction reference. Do not send card details or activation credentials.
Operating DNS safely
Use ConfigWitness DNS only on systems you are authorized to manage. Review supported operations, fresh-state checks, and recovery guidance before applying changes. Recovery and rollback depend on the operation and server state; they are not a guarantee that every change can be reversed.
Rights and product identity
These terms do not exclude rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. ConfigWitness is an independent product; Microsoft and Windows are trademarks of their respective owner. ConfigWitness does not imply Microsoft sponsorship or endorsement.
